    anter: Just returned from the Oriental Arts Center. Jon Kimura Parker reminded me of Schroeder from Peanuts. Same posture when playing. The program was all fine and dandy but he played an encore, a movement from Appassionata. Oh my!

      anter This must have been exhausting for the three musicians. It was exhausting to watch and listen two. They performed without a break for over an hour. Chamber orchestra in this setting with boats on the river and bleak sky, such a lovely Sunday afternoon.

      Deleted Member As TD states above, Haydn's string quartets can be brilliant. I particularly like String Quartet in D, Opus 76 No 5. The Finale Presto is joy-inducing.
